“Pinckney Marsh” C
Hilton Head, South Carolina.
This marsh scene in the low country of Hilton Head was taken at the entrance to Pinckney Island nature preserve. I had finished taking photographs of some live oak trees on the island. I was heading back to the main island when I saw this scene. Normally I don’t shoot at high noon, but the blue sky gave the water in this scene a nice look. The low country landscape is constantly changing as the sun moves across the sky.
