The Georgia coast is known for its extreme tidal swings. Many boats passing through stay out to sea and avoid the Intracoastal waters for that reason. What I find fascinating is what gets exposed when the tide is low. The scene in this photograph will be totally different come tomorrow. Guaranteed! I could stand in this same spot every day and no two photos will be alike. Different shapes, different tones, and different textures.
