Knowing the pier would be lined with fishermen by 8 or 9 in the morning, I headed out to the Tybee Pier before sunrise on this summer day. I wanted to catch the sunrise with a long exposure with a composition that I had planned after numerous visits to the pier. I knew this one would be a color photograph and was hoping for soft warm colors that morning. Minimalism was my thinking here. I plan on taking more photographs of this beautiful pier.
